Memorial Day celebrated in style
The Firm's annual Memorial Day document review marathon took place this morning, and went as smoothly as could be expected. Attendance was close to 100%, as the young associates took their places at seven in the morning and sorted papers until late in the night. Reportedly, there were only two casualties, a record-low. Despite the holiday, the associates continued to prove their dedication to the Firm, and to the clients whose checks pay their inflated salaries. This year, as a break with tradition, the associates were each provided three crackers and a small cup of water around lunchtime, leading to a dispute later in the day about bathroom breaks. The impact this year's changes will have on future Memorial Day document review marathons has yet to be determined.
