Notable Experience
Mr. Kasowitz is the partner in charge of the Firm's labor and employment law practice. Before attending law school, he worked for eighteen months at a business, which provided him with the necessary experience to lead our multi-national labor group, and the expertise our clients seek. Mr. Kasowitz provides clients with answers to their labor law questions, often in a timely manner, and sometimes highly accurately. Over his career, he has represented clients in heavy manufacturing, light manufacturing, textile manufacturing, chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing, clothing manufacturing, cosmetic manufacturing, and billable-hour manufacturing. Mr. Kasowitz is an expert at drafting iron-clad employment contracts which allow our clients to fire their workers for pretty much anything. He also drafts the Firm's internal contracts. After his retirement, Mr. Kasowitz and his estate will be paid by the Firm until the end of time.

Best Experience at the Firm
"There's nothing like being a young associate, working through the night, sleeping under your desk, eating the scraps you find in the carpet, washing yourself in the water fountain, wearing the same suit for weeks at a time. I miss my entry-level days. I'm jealous of the associates I impose this lifestyle on today."
Worst Experience at the Firm
"As the head of the Labor group, sometimes it's inevitable that I'll have to execute the punishments which I spell out in associate contracts. It's never enjoyable to put someone through the Firm's water torture. But it has to happen."
Advice to Law Students
"Take advantage of the extra-curriculars at law school. The professor research, the legal journals, the moot court competitions. I don't know why. It just sounds like good advice."
