Notable Experience
Ms. Bartholowitz helped the Firm close a deal for the 57,000-acre property for one of its clients, managing the filing and photocopying for the project. In 2002, she did a six-month rotation in the Firm's Chicago office, where she processed thousands of documents, and gained thirty-four pounds by enjoying the office's diverse menu of take-out deep-dish pizza options. In addition, Ms. Bartholowitz has served as a summer associate mentor since 2003.

"My six-month stint in Chicago was probably my most frustrating time at the Firm, but that was mostly my own fault for not taking the time to see the city. I wish I'd discovered some of the 24-hour supermarkets and movie theaters, and filled my spare time more socially than merely sleeping in my apartment. It's a lesson I won't forget if the Firm sends me elsewhere in the future."
Advice to Law Students
"Don't get drunk on the summer associate boat cruise. People will talk about it for years afterwards. They really will. It will become your defining attribute. It's embarrassing to be called 'Drunk Girl' in front of a client."
