"I thought when I left the firm, I would never hear from them again. But I regularly get updates about how things are going, and e-mails inviting me to fundraisers. It's great to feel like I'm still part of the community, even though I never go to any of the events."

Alumni

It has never been a firm priority to stay connected to our former colleagues -- the attorneys who have either chosen to leave us or failed to meet our standards. Nevertheless, while most of our alumni end up homeless and ill, a few of our former associates and partners go on to successful careers as lawyers or in other professions. We celebrate those who donate money to the Firm, or allow us to use their names in our promotional materials.

Of former Anonymous Law Firm associates, about 60 percent are now deceased.

Some of our alumni have held important positions in government. Currently three of our former lawyers serve as federal judges. Other positions our alumni hold include:

  • General Counsel for Arabian Horse Association
  • Replacement Umpire, International League
  • Chief Executive of Tyco, Inc.
  • Investment Advisor to Martha Stewart
  • Author, "How Opal Mehta Got Kissed, Got Wild, and Got a Life."
